One system for your school. And your university.
Admissions, attendance, exams, report cards and fees — across every campus, in Somali, Arabic or English. Parents pay by EVC Plus and the receipt posts itself.

Campuses per institution — unlimited
The register is a notebook. The fees are another notebook.
Most Somali institutions run on paper and spreadsheets that live on one laptop. It works until it does not.
Nobody agrees on the numbers
The principal counts one enrolment, the accountant another, and the board gets a third at the end of term.
Fees leak quietly
Cash and EVC Plus land in different places. Nobody knows who owes what until someone sits down with a calculator.
Results are copied by hand
Marks move from a teacher’s book to a spreadsheet to a report card. Every copy is a chance to get a child’s future wrong.
Growth breaks everything
Open a second campus and the notebooks multiply. There is no way to see both at once.
Features
Everything an institution actually runs on
Not a gradebook with extras bolted on. The full record, from the day a child applies to the day a transcript is sealed.
Admissions
Applications, entrance results, admission numbers and transfers — with the family’s details captured once.
Student records
Three-part names, mother’s name, guardians, welfare flags. The record a Somali registrar actually keeps.
Attendance
Per class or per course, per period. Absences reach the guardian by SMS the same morning.
Timetable
Saturday to Thursday, with prayer and break slots. Clashes on rooms and teachers are caught as you build it.
Exams & marks
Continuous assessment, midterms and finals with weights that must total 100. Marks lock once results publish.
Report cards
Printed in the family’s language, with position in class, conduct and the class teacher’s remark.
Fees & invoices
Fee structures per level and per campus. Sibling, orphan and scholarship waivers apply themselves.
Mobile money
EVC Plus, eDahab, Sahal, ZAAD and Premier Wallet reconcile against invoices. Cash gets a receipt number too.
Staff
Contracts, qualifications, teaching loads, attendance and salaries — per campus.
Messaging
SMS to a class, a level or every parent with an unpaid balance. In the language each family reads.
Reports
Enrolment, attendance, collection rate and pass rate — for one campus or all of them at once.
Transcripts
Credit hours, GPA and academic standing, accumulated semester by semester and sealed on graduation.
A school and a university are not two products
The same system serves Grade 1 and a final-year law student. The structure changes; the record does not.
Schools & madrasas
- Grade 1–8 and Form 1–4, the federal structure
- Three terms, class groups and homeroom teachers
- Percentage grading with A–F bands
- Quran and Tarbiyah Islaamiya as first-class subjects
- Grade 8 and Form 4 national exam years flagged
Universities & institutes
- Faculties, departments and degree programmes
- Two semesters plus summer, with registration windows
- Credit hours, 4.0 GPA and academic standing
- Course sections, prerequisites and retakes
- Transcripts and degree audit
Built for groups, not just one building
An institution holds many campuses. Each one keeps its own register, its own fees and its own staff — while the director sees all of them together.
Scoped by design
A campus principal sees their campus. The director sees every campus. Nobody sees another institution, ever — the boundary is enforced in the database layer, not in the interface.
Consolidated reporting
Enrolment, collections and attendance roll up across campuses without anyone exporting a spreadsheet.
Switch in one click
Staff who work across two campuses — or two institutions — move between them without signing out.
Somali, Arabic and English. Properly.
Not a menu of half-translated buttons. Every screen, every report card, every SMS — in the language the reader uses.
Real right-to-left
Arabic mirrors the entire interface, not just the text. Numbers and dates stay readable.
Records in both scripts
A student’s name is stored in Latin and Arabic script, so certificates print correctly either way.
Hijri alongside Gregorian
Ramadan timetables and Eid breaks are calendar events, not manual adjustments.
The details that only matter here
The things an imported system gets wrong on day one.
Friday is the weekend
The week runs Saturday to Thursday, everywhere in the system.
Phone, not email
Parents sign in with a mobile number. +252 formats are understood however they are typed.
Names have three parts
Given, father, grandfather — plus the mother’s name on every record.
Dollars quoted, shillings paid
Every amount carries its currency. Nothing is assumed.
Diaspora pays the fees
Guardians abroad are recorded as payers, with their own receipts.
Built light
Pages are small and render on the server, so they open on a slow connection.

Questions we get asked
Does it really work for a university as well as a school?
Yes. Both run on the same record. A school uses grades, terms and periods; a university uses years, semesters and credit hours. You choose which when your institution is set up.
Can parents pay with EVC Plus?
Yes — EVC Plus, eDahab, Sahal, ZAAD and Premier Wallet. The payment matches itself to the student’s invoice and the balance updates. Cash payments are recorded with a receipt number the same way.
What happens when the internet is slow or drops?
Pages are rendered on the server and kept small, so they load on a weak connection. If the connection drops mid-task, nothing is lost — you sign back in and continue.
Where is our data kept?
In your own database. We can host it, or you can run it on a server in Hargeisa. Either way you can export everything at any time, at no cost.
Can we use Somali and Arabic at the same time?
Yes. Each person picks their own language. A parent can read the portal in Somali while the registrar works in English and a certificate prints in Arabic.
How long does set-up take?
A single campus with clean student data is usually running within a week. Multi-campus groups and mid-year migrations take longer — we import from your spreadsheets.
See it with your own data
Tell us about your institution and we will set up a demo with your levels, your subjects and your fee structure — not a generic sample.
